We are seeking a Hotel Houseman to join our team!

Pay is $15/hour
*Must be available to work weekends and holidays with two days off during the week!

Monday-Friday- 9:30 am-6pm
Saturday- 10am-6:30pm
Sunday- 10:30am- finished

Prior Hotel experience preferred and must be confident in cleaning

*Hours will vary based your weekly schedule

Responsible for cleaning and maintaining all public areas in the building including corridors, public restrooms, administrative offices, sales offices, restaurant, lobby areas, ballrooms, meeting spaces, terrace level spaces, break rooms, and pool area.

  • Must be able to work at a fast pace, assisting with pre-clean of 40-50 rooms per day
  • Cleans all interior glass throughout the hotel.
  • Cleans and maintains all commercial storage areas.

  • Assist front desk associates and room attendants in delivering supplies to guest rooms; may be requested to assist guest with bags on occasion. 

  • Assists in cleaning and maintaining door entrances to hotel, including ash urns.

  • Assists room attendants and laundry attendants as needed. Assists in any other area of the housekeeping department and public areas as needed.

  • Cleans guest rooms or assists in laundry when necessary or when directed by the Executive Housekeeper, Assistant, Inspector, or Manager on Duty

  • Empties all trash from commercial areas and takes to dumpster.

  • Must be able to bend, twist, list and stand for the shift work, and lift 25 or more pounds while working

  • Complete maintenance requests for items which need repair or deep cleaning.

  • Interact with guests in a friendly, courteous, helpful manner, report guest complaints to supervisors immediately.

  • Cleans guest rooms or assists in laundry when necessary or needed as directed.

  • Wears proper uniform/dress code and name tag at all times.

  • Performs all other duties deemed necessary by management.
