Dishwasher- Hotel Restaurant "Urban State"

Evening shift $14/hour  SUN- THURSDAY

  • Job Overview

    Operates the dish washing machine; keeps the kitchen and other areas of the dining room in a clean and orderly condition. Assist in any other area of the kitchen and line as directed and needed.

  • Responsible for the operation and cleanliness of the dishwashing machine.
  • Responsible for washing of all china, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and other items in used the restaurant, kitchen, banquets and room service departments
  • .Breaks down all boxes and empties trash containers into the dumpster and cleans all containers.
  • Cleans walls in the kitchen, especially in the dish room areas.  Cleans floor mats, sweeps and mops the entire kitchen floor daily.  Assists in cleaning of ovens and refrigerators.
  • Ensures that the dish machines are reading at the appropriate temperature so that all items will be properly sanitized.
  • Ensures that the floor is kept free of debris at all times.
  • Assists with unloading shipments, dating items, and putting items away.
  • Able to move items weighing up to 50 pounds and is able to stock shelves above eye level.
  • Has a thorough knowledge of emergency and life safety procedures and follows all key control procedures;
  • Provides high quality guest service.
  • Wears proper uniform/dress code, name tag, and kitchen safety shoes at all times. Performs all other duties deemed necessary by management.
